Although I thought this an unsuitable site for them—well away from foxes but also well away from water—I was rather sorry that they didn't stay. A potter would've been enchanted by the colours, as we all were.
I do hope that they found a more suitable home somewhere nearby, and that one day we'll see them swimming on a public pond with a nice clutch of ducklings.
