Willy wagtail (Rhipidura leucophrys)

Willy wagtail in bare mulberry tree in midwinter

This little fellow was comparatively unafraid. We were able to approach quite closely. He did change his position, flicking quickly from branch to branch, apparently eating insects, but he didn't fly away until he was good and ready. Perhaps insects are hard to find in the dead of winter, and it'd be unwise to pass up a decent feed.
