Two galahs, one working
The two galahs look exactly alike; there's no way that I can tell male from female. Neither can I tell whether they take turns at the nest excavation or whether it's always the same bird working while the other looks on.
The pair never seems to separate; both are either present or absent; there's never one on its own.
During the excavation time, both birds fly off before nightfall and return in the early morning.
