


The background here is just sprayed colour, stretched a little.
I wanted an outline font, but couldn't find one, but found this three dimensional one. It made it very easy to paint a shadow behind the letters. The white areas aren't totally enclosed, though, so to begin with I had to join front to back. The red lines on the second black “H” show where this had to be done

After I'd made my mask and cleaned away the excess background, the effect was a bit “so what”. I tried changing the colour of the shadow, by using the right button of the eraser tool to replace both pink and yellow pixels with grey. Much better!
